ECO-HOME INTRODUCTION

Having finished this outreach to schools smoothly, we plan to bring this program to every home and every community, thereby making this a comprehensive program that Based on the Eco-Office Evaluation program model, this program was expanded to schools in 2008, letting students audit their own campus and help to make them greener.

Environmental Resource Management (ERM), a professional consulting company specializing in environmental issues, designed the checklist and materials used in this program.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the program are:

  • Instill the belief that every individual can make a positive difference to the environment
  • Help the involved students evaluate the environment and daily energy-consuming practices in their own homes
  • Raise environmental awareness among students, their families and the community at large
